CALL for Demonstrators

The Women in IES Demo/Symposium session goal is to hold an exposition space where female researchers will be able to present prototypes, tools, simulations, etc. in all areas of the Industrial Electronics Technologies, Techniques, and Methodologies.

The session will be organized in the Women in Engineering Workshop during IECON 2022 conference 17-20 Oct 2022 in Brussels, Belgium. It will enable female researchers to present their advances in engineering and allow them to generate interest in the assisted public as well as to encourage them to continue in their topics and create frameworks and contacts.

The WIE Demo/Symposium welcome high-quality research demonstrations and showcases in the following areas:

     

      - New technologies for Electric Transportation

      - Electric Energy Storage Systems

        - Power systems and the Smart Grid, Renewable Energy Systems and Smart Grid

      - Electrical Machines and Drives

      - Power Electronics & Energy Conversion

      - Sensors and Control

       - Signal and Image Processing

        - Information and Communication Technology

        - Assistive Robotics

        - Security and Ethics

        - Human-system Interactions

       - Intelligent Embedded Systems

        - Computer Vision

       - Virtual Reality Systems

       - Virtual Instrumentation   



Authors are invited to submit a 1–2-page summary of the demo in the IEEE Conference Proceedings Format including names and affiliation. The program committee will review the summaries and formally invite the authors of the selected demos. During the sessions the participants will present their work prototypes, simulations, posters and will discuss with the attendees.  Authors are requested to prepare the manuscripts in the IEEE two-column format template and to translate it in PDF. No other format in the submission can be accepted. The IEEE two-column format template can be downloaded from this link.
